This was a 'two-fer' deal for me. My wife had a relative in town visiting us around this time. I was able to get away for a couple of days to hang out with 'the fellas' during this time and...well, we'll let the photos tell the story.
NOTE: As of May, 2011 the one-and-only location of the Heart Attack Grill (HAG) is now located in - Las Vegas.
Now, a much larger group rendezvoused at the restaurant... Most of these people? I don't recall who they are, unfortunately. As far as I knew, all of the discussion about this was all via a single message forum about Goldwings.
You can read about the HAG by visiting their web page.

I'm estimating that half the crowd was from AZ, while the other half had ridden over from SoCal on this warm spring Saturday. For nearly all the AZ contingent, they went on their way, while I was the lone 'Zonie to continue on with the SoCal crew as they were doing a quick Grand Canyon tour on Sunday. Our Saturday evening was to be in Payson. Some went off to dinner, while some chose to imbibe much closer to the motel room.
The next morning, we begin to wander toward the Grand Canyon.

| From the south rim of the Grand Canyon, we headed toward our lodging for the night, in Sedona. Our group was so big, we ended up in to different locations - in mom & pop style lodging. Good fun! |

Sunday morning, it was time for the SoCal contingent to begin their trek for home. We took the twisty route thru Jerome, AZ, then into Prescott. From there, westbound down Yarnell Hill and back to the lower deserts.
From this point, I pointed the bike south and made my way home. Yeah, I missed not having Grace on the bike...but it was a good time, and these guys? Wow; they're GOOD riders! Can't wait to get back to Death Valley next year!
