Once again, a weekend in the middle of winter draws a few motorcyclists to a lonely spot of high desert in Beatty, Nevada. Festivities begin at the world-famous Motel 6 Conference Center (a.k.a. parking lot) shortly upon arrival.
I took no photos of the conference center this year; things aren’t really changing. mostly the same people, doing the same things from year to year. Yes, there's no 'plan', but like a lot of things, not much reason to change.
Possibly one of the the better images I’ve ever taken on this ride. I think this is going to be a background image on my work computer, just to show people that I work with why I have to come out here – if only for a weekend.

Everyone here is a good rider – some are more adventurous than others. 
This ride has taken place since 2007. All those years, all those miles…an interesting time in the desert.
